If it’s been awhile since you’ve hit the YMCA, and you weren’t inclined to join the Navy, then perhaps the third hit from the Village People is more your speed. That’s right, Macho Man, if you want to assert your dominance at the next GenVibe meet in Pontiac, Indiana, today is your lucky day. In fact, all that’s required is your checkbook and the obligatory chest hair.

As most of our readers now know, the early generations of the Pontiac Vibe GT possess 185 horses, courtesy of Yamaha, and the coveted 6-speed manual—making them a desirable car to have in one’s garage. But what we have here, for sale today only, is the 2005 Pontiac Vibe GT Mulholland, pumping out an estimated 200 horsepower. This car was custom built by Dennis Mecham for display at the 2004 SEMA show. The same Dennis Mecham of the famous 1970’s MACHO TA’s, 1980’s MSE Trans am, 1990’s Mecham Trans ams and lastly Mecham Design Performance.

"If you lose the auction, just break out the Slim Jim!"

The GT Mulholland is #1 of 1 built and was the Design exercise of Dennis and Pontiac to highlight the second generation of Vibes and his long standing relationship with Pontiac. In the career of Dennis Mecham, this GT Mulholland is significant in that this is the LAST car Dennis built and put his label on. Moreover, it actually was his personal car. The mods alone were close to $20K, and the original window sticker on the car was merely $23K.

If you are a Macho TA guy you know how special this car is, and how the Macho pricing has been going up, but more importantly it only has 38,000 miles. When’s the last time anything involving Toyota from 2005 had under 100k miles?  Here’s the link on eBay.
