It was a beautiful day for a cruise-in, and, after such an insufferable winter, residents of Pontiac, Illinois, and the cruise-in participants were equally happy to be outdoors. GenVibe members from as far as Pennsylvania made the trek to Route 66 and the town square for GenVibe Meet 2014. All their Vibes were parked in front of the Pontiac Automobile Museum for what proved to be some of the best spots on the square for viewing all the festivities. Highlights of the Vibes present included a base model Vibe with a Toyota Racing Division supercharger, cold air intake and methanol injection; another Vibe had a new custom flat black paint job with Trump gold metallic flecks that danced in the sunlight. Perhaps the biggest surprise to see was a full-fledged Rally Racer Vibe. Expect a full story on that one to come soon. Until then, we’ll see you next year for GenVibe 2015!
